Interestingly enough, all the plot synopses I’ve seen describe the main character as ugly but make no mention of weight. However, the Spanish title of this oeuvre translates as Revenge of the Fat Girl. And I believe that she, too, has to have her jaw wired shut after falling out an airplane or something like that. Maybe Joan Rivers’ estate needs to sue.
